1. Features of inlaid carbide trimming woodworking milling cutter

The carbide trimming woodworking milling cutter takes the head bearing as the template, and trims the plate according to the template shape. According to different processing requirements and processing conditions, there are many kinds of woodworking milling cutters for trimming processing.

2. types of inlaid carbide trimming woodworking milling cutter

There are several trimming woodworking milling cutters according to different processing requirements:

(1) Trimming cutter: one of the most common and widely used trimming woodworking cutters. The cutting tool production technology is mature and convenient to use, which is favored by customers. (2) Extended trimming knife: the extended trimming knife is an extended version of the trimming knife. By comparing the structural sketch of the trimming knife with the structural sketch of the extended trimming knife, we can clearly see the difference between the two. It is basically consistent with the trimming knife in processing technology and use mode, and can trim and process wide plates.

(3) Three edge trimming cutter / four edge trimming cutter: the basic structure is the same as that of the trimming cutter. Compared with it, the cutting edge is increased. In the same time, the cutting times can be increased by 1/2 or 1 time, which can significantly improve the surface finish of the plate processed by the cutter and improve the surface quality of the plate processed. (4) Double oblique trimming knife: the structural diagram of double oblique trimming knife is shown in the figure. The cutting tool adopts staggered tooth structure, and the cutting edge is used for spiral cutting up and down, which is suitable for machining veneer plates. In the process of machining, the veneer is pressed and pulled by two cutting edges with opposite rotation directions to cut close to the plate core, so as to protect the plate from edge explosion, make the cutting surface smoother and reduce the production cost.

(5) Others: in addition to the above trimming woodworking milling cutters, there are some less commonly used ones, such as side V trimming cutters, protruding trimming cutters, special trimming cutters, double bearing trimming cutters, etc.
